Dalhousie Tigers Football Announce 2016 Award Winners

On a November evening at the Dalhousie University Club, the Tigers perfect season was celebrated and 2016 team award winners were announced. Many Tigers alumni from the 1960s and 1970s were in attendance to hand out their storied awards.

Award Winners:

Team MVP: Nick Hunsley (QB)

Offensive MVP: Zack Leger (RB)

Defensive MVP: Jack Chaisson (MLB)

Special Teams MVP: Michael MacNeil (RB)

Most Valuable Lineman: Jesse Legault (DL)

Comeback Player of the Year: Chad Kirkhus (WR)

Rookie of the Year: Spencer Muise (WR)

Most Improved Player: Tegin Davis (DB)

Leadership Award: Casey Jones (OL) and Rob Wilson (DB)
